Memorial Day Trip 2016 – Goblin Valley/San Rafael Swell

Hi there! This Memorial Day weekend (Friday May 27- Monday May 30), we are thrilled to be heading west to Goblin Valley State Park and the San Rafael Swell in Utah. Our aim is to explore the incredible Colorado Plateau – a region of Southeast Utah that boasts canyons, valleys and other fascinating high-desert features. We are particularly excited to embark on some major hikes with our children, now that they are a bit older and can handle the more challenging slots and features. We can’t wait to create new memories as we immerse ourselves in the beauty and wonder of this amazing part of the country.

Why We are Digital Project Managers (DPMs)

I was really blown away by Brett Harned’s recent post and speech to the DPMUK group called Army of Awesome where he challenged DPMs to define what it means to be a Digital Project Manager.  IMHO, he nailed the qualities/DNA/skills of the DPM better than anything else I’ve ever seen. Reconciling budgets? You betcha!
Unreasonable clients? Always.
Scope creep? Every day.
I can go on with a list a hundred bullets long but that would be boring.

There are three crucial steps to achieving success with organizational optimization. By utilizing each step correctly, you allow your team to work thoroughly and effectively from start to finish. These steps establish consistency, define roles, and enforce the process on a scalable.. Read more

Homecoming at the Digital Project Management Summit 2015

So, I just landed in Philadelphia on the eve of the Digital Project Management (DPM) Summit 2015. It’s my first time attending this event, but it feel like a homecoming. You see, I’ve been in working for nearly twenty years creating great digital and this is the first time I’m going to an event that focuses on the “unsung” hero:.. Read more
